Back when I using win98, I could allways locate the cookie file
by clicking on windows. I would delete these cookies and then proceed on to the TIF and delete the cache there. I would then
double click on the open TIF file and behold! I would find sometimes as many as 12 different folders with very strange names like Agkly2yz which held additional damm cookies and sometimes an indexdata file in some of them. Anyway, mostly, I was able to delete all cookies which I'm not sure did any good since those same cookies were also stored in the indexdata file
which of course Microsoft does not want you tampering with warnings of cannot delete or doing so may cause your system to
not operate properly. Sorry for rambling on!
I'm now using win2000 pro and having a big problem in navigating
to the files I described above.
Can some one give me the exact correct paths?
Thankyou for your time and best wishes,

    tiple:p

    p.s. using IE 6.0

    This may help .

    http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/cookiejar.asp
Cookies present a dilemma. On one hand, chances are you want to accept cookies from some sites
(for such functionality as saving login information). On the other hand, so many sites write
cookies to your hard drive that you'll probably want to delete them every now and then. Cookie
Jar lets you keep the cookies you want and delete the cookies you don't want. Simply sort
cookies into Allowed and Banned (or Undecided) jars. Cookie Jar can then be set to run when
Windows starts up and delete all Banned and/or Undecided cookies, leaving the Allowed ones
    alone.
