Hello, How does one get his Thunderbird mail when away from his home computer with access to another computer which may or may not have Thunderbird installed?

Suggestions would need to be qualified by how long / frequency this occurs and or business/work is involved (when your away from your computer).

If just a day or two once a year ...
Most ISP's provide Web site access to your email. You will be able to view, read, delete and send email from this portal. Check your ISP's website for email URL / details. You will not be using Thunderbird to access this site. Any computer with internet access and a browser will get the job done.

    Longer period than above ...
Have Flash Drive and travel. I've never used the following, but they have been offered for some time. A possible solution / package would be to download Portable Apps.
    What is a portable app?
    Download Portable Apps.
This would allow the use of Thunderbird and Firefox on any ones computer, and leave nothing behind when done. Their may/may not an issue with ISP at visiting location that may block sending email from Thunderbird ... discretion of local ISP (general used to prevent spamming).

For very long, very frequent, or business needs ...
Invest in your own netbook / notebook.

Dennis L, Your second paragraph was what I was looking for.

I actually had this arrangement with a former ISP but your post jarred my fuzzy brain and I set up an e-mail account with the current server. checked it out and it works fine. Thank you for the great help.

Glad one of the suggestion works for you.
I also have a similar condition of "fuzzy brain" ... my wife refers my condition as "brain dead" syndrome.
