When opening TB recently, it would not retreive new mail on the first try, only on the second. Two days later when I opened TB it showed I had over 2500 new emails, and wants to download all of the mail stored on the server.
My question is this: how do I reset the program to the normal position so it will act as it is supposed to? I want to be able to zero out the counter.
    Thanks
    Rob

Depending on your OS, the TB profile files may be hidden or not . If it is a corrupted inbox.msf file, just delete it from windows Explorer, with TB closed. When you open, again TB, things should have gotten back to normal.
Otherwise, I suggest that you access your mail from your ISP website. If you get 2500 new e-mails there, they do not represent any corrupted TB file.
Typically, if you have a corrupted header file, you will get multiples of the same message.
