No big deal, but it would be nice to do away with individual DRAFTS and TEMPLATES folders for each email address, maybe just have one each for all email addresses (lazy, I have several email addresses and would like to be able to see/use them all without scrolling). Any way to do that?

    keywester,

You can't delete the Drafts and Templates folders in individual accounts. But what you can do, is use the "Global Inbox" setting.

Thunderbird : FAQs : Global Inbox
I'm pretty sure this will accomplish what you want to do. The KB Article will tell you what to do with your existing mail, etc.

I am with you here, to a point. The Drafts folder is for Mail to be sent later, although I, probably, never send from half of my twelve accounts. But, I never used the Templates, and probably never will.
Since, I have never done it nor cared to do it, since I am used to have my accounts contracted, it is no problem to have these extras. I am not going to mess with this, now, but it should be possible to remove anything from the about:config, just as it is possible to add , taking similar precautions. But it is quite a fishing expedition.

Thanx for the info, but like I initially indicated, I am lazy all that and sounds like to much work. And if I conceptualize the "global inbox" correctly, all specified email from all accounts would go into one inbox, and that would be a mess for me - I just want to be able to see all inboxes without having to scroll down. Would be nice if Tbird had the plus/minus button on the MAIN email folders so that I could "minimize" or hide the extra folders...
