    Thanks Jim.
I downloaded the complete file, but, then went to my TB, and checked for updates, and I got the incremental. Everything is working fine.

    Incremental Update - 1.5.0.12 to 2.0.0.*

Hi all, do you know if there is going to be an incremental update of TB from version 1.5 to 2.0.*.? As I am on dial-up I find the incrementals much faster than downloading the full versions. Also convenient as I don't have to mess with the profiles, etc. as it just goes into the same directory automatically.

    John,

There were incremental updates of 1.5.0.x to Version 2.0 for some time. However, support for Firefox 1.5.0.x ended in June, according to Mozilla:

    http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=21920
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/releases/1.5.0.12.html

Not knowing which versions you have, not sure whether or not the incremental upgrades will work for you. Try updating using the "Check for Updates" command in the help menu. This is from the above "Talkback" link:

Hi Ramona, thanks for getting back to me on this. I had more or less come to the conclusion that incremental updates from TB 1.5.0.12 to 2.0.0.5 were not or would not be available so I bit the bullet and d/l'd the full version 2.0.0.5. It installed just fine over 1.5 and is up and running.

I also have FF2.0.0.5 which did update incrementally from 1.5 using the help menu update a couple of weeks ago.

It's just that with dial-up downloading large files is a PITA.:( so I try to find ways to speed up the process.

    Thanks again.

    Hi John,

I can relate to the pain of dialup downloading. It was such a thrill to finally have cable, and being able to download in seconds, instead of hours.
