Hi, when using Facebook on win7 computer with IE 11, I often get the message
''The media could not be played." it usually happens when transferred off Facebook.
When I use Chrome it does not happen.
I hope I'm making sense.

Codecs? Download K-Lite Codec Pack

 

Hi,
I downloaded the codec pack and installed it and it was good for a few days but now it's back to ''The media could not be played." I cannot use Chrome anymore as it seems to be infected with some type of virus and I have removed it from the computer. However the video's work fine on Firefox. Do you think I should try running the codec's again or is there something else to try?

I only use Firefox browser and have no problem viewing F/B vids in W10 Pro. Are you up to date with Adobe? There have been a number of security updates for Adobe - so do a check and make sure you have the latest from Adobe. DON'T use a 3rd. party Adobe supplier!!!
