Please tell me what I can do to straighten this problem out. I have tried to set the color and box sizes in my display panel but they won't apply. They keep going back to the same thing. Right now my color is at 16 bit. (The hardrive had to be changed out in my computer.)

    Welcome to the boards!
I did a slight edit to your thread title, and removed your email address. Spammers may pick it up.

I think you mean your video display is stuck in 16 color, not 16 bit color {High Color} or you would be able to change your settings. In any case you need to install your video drivers. Go get Everest, and it should identify your video card for you.
BTW, did you install your motherboard drivers?
