    Pretty cool. I would love to have been involved in that development back then.

    I remember being shown Leading Edge computers in 1986-87 and concluding "What use do these things have for the everyday man? What's the big deal? I can write a letter or balance my checkbook 20 times faster using a pencil and paper. They may be great for the business community & govt but have little value to people like myself. "

    The person that showed me the computer worked for a company that in a year became the largest supplier to the US govt, later went public and put fortunes in the pockets of quite a few folks I know.
