Recently I've been having problems with the Insert and Delete keys. These two keys are vital for two nessecary commands in a game I play. But for some reason XP has locked these keys to, when hit, open the search window or Outlook Express. This didn't happen when I first got this computer, and after a year this has happened. Have you any idea how I could possibly fix this?

    1. Are you riunning any Macro key program that assigns so called hot keys?

    2. Are the delete and insert normal when not running game?

If #2 above is true then it has to ber the game that is doing it. So look at its setup and config, especially any keyboard settings.

If #2 above is not true then boot to safe mode and see if normal there. If normal there boot back to full mode and look at your startups. If nothing else and you have a multimedia keyboard driver (web and email and volume control buttons) loading at startup then unload it and retest.
