    I suppose this thread doesn't belong here, but I had to register even just to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all who posted....your
    questions and answers regarding Win98SE, IE, Windows Upates and others too numerous to mention helped me greatly to box my computers ears so that now it behaves!! Oh OK, it's only for 2 minutes til the next problem but I just had to say
