    Hello,

I need some help with figuring out Terminal Services. I recently was pushed into doing IT for my company. So some of this stuff is a learning curve for me. Please, be patient with me.

Terminal Services is stated on the server in question. It is Windows 2008 server SP1.

This is what I need to accomplish. I need to have someone, from outside our network, to be able to 'dial-in' and use only one specific program suite. This user will be stationary - i.e working from home.

Can someone point me to a source that can help me accomplish this. All help will be appreciate it. I tried to google it, however most of what I received was how to start or install the service.

Thank you in advance. Also, if I left out anything that one needs to know, let me know.

Add this person as a Windows User. While doing that you'll see a tab where you can tell the system to launch the specific app you mentioned.

    I see,, thank you.

On the users end, how do they connect to the network?

The Remote Desktop tool? If so, which IP do they point to.

Yes they'd use Remote Desktop...and in theory they'd use the IP to the Term Serv machine.
