When I turn on my computer I get a Warning dialog box that says my
Temporary Key will expire in 2 days.
I have no idea what they are talking about.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

not sure that the wording is exact but ... did u activate windows? it's required these days and should have asked when u installed. if this is it, check u'r systemtools section for the activation program and run it.

    Hello George,

It does sound like WPA - XP activation:

    http://aumha.org/win5/a/wpa.php

If it is, there should be an icon sitting in the Notification Area, clicking on that will lead you thru activivation.

    Regards - charles

To me it does not sound like Windows Activation. AFAIK windows only allows a "grace period ", and will not refer to any "temporary key "....

I'd start looking for a 3rd party app that is loading at startup.

Temporary Key to Expire Warning 2

    Problem Solved
The Key was to a PC fix program I subscribed to last year.
I went to run the program a little while ago and I got that Warning
The program is pc1click 365 day Auto Fix.

I want to thank all of you for your input and please excuse my stupidity!

    Thanks again,
    George
