I've gotten great help in the past at the network board...thought I'd try my luck with the application board...

Several people in my office never save their documents within emails. They just close out of outlook after they look at an attachment and occassionally back up their outlook.

I think they should be saving their documents (word attachments) to My Docs or someplace similar. Does it matter? Is it OK that they are only available via the temp file?

    Thanks for the feedback.

They'll always be part of the email unless it gets deleted.

Technically, the temp files "should" get deleted automatically when they close the word doc.

thanks for the quick feedback...so as long as their outlook is getting backed up then they don't need to worry about a second place to store a more "permanent" or accessible file?

    Thanks.
