Hi. Sorry if this has been repeated before, I tried to search for it but couldnt find anything.

I dual boot between 98SE and XP home. Im working on swtiching over for good. So far, Ive been able to get Firefox working good with NS bookmarks and stuff off of 98SE profile. BUT, I cant seem to make Tbird to get my NS mail settings, mail, addresses. Ive put the mail profile in the every folder I could think of. Uninstalled it and reinstalled no good.

I need to know where Tbird puts mail stuff so Ican get my NS mail into it. Hope I made sense, if not ask what info u need and I'll provide it .

    Thanks!

Are trying to set up TB in XP, while you have NS in SE?
I don't know how you got your Firefox to pick up settings,
but your profile in Thunderbird in in: C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles, using WinXP.
As for Thunderbird, you will have to set up your accounts, rename the equivalent files in SE (Inbox, Sent) to any other name, and get them over to the same mail account folder. That will give you folders like NSInbox, and NSSent, along with the folders which are found in TB. This is done to prevent overwriting.
I am not familiar with dual boot, but you can store your data on a CD, and use that for your transfer. You should also Export your Address Book as an ldif file, and then Import it into TB.
