    I noticed when I reply to a message, the cursor is placed at the bottom of the page instead of at the top. Is there a way to change this?

    You are using the default setting for your mail account. Go to Tools|Accounts Settings|your account|Composition and Addressing. Make the change at the Composition part of the window. This setting is the same in all more recent mail clients, including NS7.2 and Moz1.7.12.
