    Hi all,

I noticed that programs in the taskbar aren't listed in the order in which they were opened. Sometimes they're listed alphabetically, or randomly.

When I want to close a program, I have to hunt through the taskbar to find it.

Anyone know if this is by design?

Are you talking about taskbar, or systray/notification area?

    Hi broni,

At the bottom, not the systray. For instance, I'll have SeaMonkey opened and next to the orb is SeaMonkey. Then I'll open Word and that'll be second. Then I'll open Windows Explorer and then that will be next to the Orb. If I open something else, it'll either be next to the Orb, at the end of the Taskbar or it'll be somewhere in the middle of what I have opened. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason that I can figure out.

Normally, every newly opened program will appear next to the previously opened. Is it different in your case?

    Hi broni,

Yep, I'm looking at it right now. I had my e-mail account open only. I went to Explorer and it moved my e-mail over and positioned itself next to the Orb. Then I opened Control Panel and it was next to the e-mail. Then when I clicked on your reply, the WBBS site positioned itself between my e-mail and Control Panel.

By the by, would you know how to search using a "wildcard ", i.e., *.jpg? It doesn't work with W7.
