task manager thingy

help, my task manager is blank. I hit control, alt, delete while I was in my game to end the task and when I turned my game off the task manager was still on the desktop but it was blank, it didn't have any thing on the top that said task or processess or any thing, so I did a warm reboot and it was gone from the desktop but when I hit control, alt , delete it came up but still empty. Is there anyway to fix this problem.

 

What happens if you double click near the edge of the application?

 

Try start>run and type sfc /scannow. May need your XP cd.
