    Win XP pro SP2
set up for a single user, myself
no extra user accounts set up

when I hit Ctl+alt+del I get a error window saying that Task Manager has been disabled by the administrator. I have not done anything new on the computer or installed anything that should have been able to do this.

It's been a while, where would I go to unlock or verify that Task Manager is not locked out. I am set as the admin on the PC so I dont see how it can be locking me out.

    Any advice???

Can you bring up task manager by right clicking on the task bar?

    YES that worked. Thank you!
I was worried that some virus or spyware had gotten on there and disabled it so I couldnt see it running or something like that.

Oldskool454--Thanks for posting back. Always good to hear that a suggestion worked! Which method did you use?
