"Task Manager Has been Disabled by your Administrator"

Tonight I did Alt+Ctrl+Del and instead of the usual, I got a Box that said, "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator." This is on a Home machine. I am the admin and have not done anything lately. Does anyone know what's happening? Why? Thank you,

I know that you've had a problem with a virus/trojan, see if msconfig and regedit work to check if any damage to them.

Does msconfig and regedit work? Start > run > type msconfig > ok. To test regedit, Start > run > type regedit > ok. If they don't work, then you have damaged system files.

The fix from Kellys is a script to re enable TM.

Once you're on Kellys, click on T, scroll down to Task Manager and read the various symptoms and fixes for this - the script is one of them.
