I run a fairly high res monitor and need to have the task bar dragged up to double height as I hate the multiple taskbar windows being stacked.
I have had no problems with this for ages but recently each time I start up, the t/bar is back to single (normal) size. Each time I start up, I have to drag it back to double height.
I guess there is a reg key that isn't sticking, anyone any ideas of which one or what the fix is ?

Thanks all, I know someone will know

    Hi Downunder,
When you get the toolbar set-up to your liking; right click on an empty space, and lock the toolbar. That should do it.

Good Luck is all I can say.

I've recently gone to double wide task bar as well. (love it when it works) Best I can tell is to make sure all desktop icons and their description are a good half inch above the double taskbar..

    TaskBar Resizing

Thanks Guys, once again, top marks.

I had tried locking the taskbar but that wasn't the trick.
The clue from Steve gave me the answer. I had been fiddling with the font dpi a bit and it had brought the icons too close to the taskbar so at startup it had pushed the taskbar back to single size.
Returning to the default font dpi (96 dpi) had been the answer.

Thanks and cheers from DownUnder :D
