Debatable whether this is a Seamonkey problem because I know of other users who have the same problem using different email programs. However this is my problem. I use TalkTalk and SeaMonkey on a Windows 7 32bit laptop. There is no problem with my browser connection but frequently when checking for emails I get a message saying:
    Alert
An error occurred with the Pop3 mail server. Mail server mail.talktalk.net responded.
When I try again again everything is fine.
    Using webmail seems fine.
My wife uses Windows Mail and Vista with the same problem.
After writing this it seems must be a TalkTalk problem so not sure where to put this. I have tried phoning them but can't get any sense outr of them.
    Any thoughts please?

Having established what TalkTalk, (or am I correct?), I would say that it would next to impossible to diagnose the issue, in the USA.
    Have you tried the Forums?

I would not count on a Forum, but you can get some good leads.
My ISP has excellent phone support, but I know of others which are pathetic.
    I wish you good luck.
