Okay, this is going to be completely mysterious to anyone who doesn't use their browser the way I do, but before I download and convert, I want to be sure that I can still use tabs for research the way I have always done in Netscape and Mozilla Suite. Although Firefox is a fine browser, it just doesn't do what I need.

Could someone with SeaMonkey already installed please run a little test and report back for me?

Open a new tab and visit a few websites. Then open a second tab, go to a few different websites, and then check the Go dropdown menu. I need to be sure that the Go menus are not the same for the two different tabs - that I can go back within the tab, rather than just generally within the window. It's difficult to explain, and I've long-since discovered that this means nothing to most people, but it definitely does to me!

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060130 SeaMonkey/1.0 ID:2006013012

Go button appears to be for the TAB that has focus...

Thanks very much! So long as they're not blended into one, this seems pretty promising.

I have four tabs, and there is everything in the first tab, with actual original tab at the bottom, and anything I opened from that tab. So, I think that your question was answered, I think, that each tab has its own history. It means nothing to me, of course.
