I just downloaded Tablet PC as part of a regular set of up updates (stupid!). Now I cannot use the mouse pad on my laptop. I have taken two actions which have had no effect: 1) turned off tablet componets using windows features in my control panel - programmes and features - still no mouse pad, and 2) stopping and disabling the start-up of tablet in my Start--Run--services.msc. - still no mouse pad. I would be so thankful for any ideas on how to restore the mouse pad on my laptop.
    Thank you so much,
    Deanna

Hi Deanna. I guess you already resolved the tablet PC issue by removing the update in device manager. Make sure you hide the update so you don't install it again. :)
