T8ExTPEx.dll is missing

    There it is t8ExTPEx.dill is missing.
    I have not been able to find a fix that does not cost big $'s I don't have.
    I am using a Latitude D830 running Wondows XP.
    Is there a fix and can you help me?
    I have a Crazy lady bitting at my tail to get this fixed.

    Hi StevenSpring, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Are you getting this error message when you start up your computer or do you get the error message when you start up Internet Explorer?

    Does the computer have Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Internet Explorer 8 installed?

    I believe T8ExTPEx.dll is related to some kind of IE toolbar ...

    In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset... > Reset (again) > Close > OK, then close Internet Explorer.

    Now try opening Internet Explorer once again and see if you get an error.

    If the file is related to an Internet Explorer toolbar then you can open up Internet Explorer and click Tools< Manage add-ons and disable each add-on one at a time until you find the culprit that is causing the problem.

    If that doesn't work then you can try resetting Internet Explorer.
