This is one of a couple of warnings that I am getting from this borrowed norton firewall... "attempted access to *system32/lsass.exe "... It appears to a running process ( it's listed in the task manager) but I have no clue what it does or why it is trying to access the internet-actually it's a remote computer trying to acces it? Anyway, does anyone know more?

lsass.exe - Local Security Authority Server Process handles Windows security mechanisms. It verifies the validity of user logons to your computer or server. Legit part of 2K and should be running.

I'd worry a bit about the Sasser Worm since it targets a known vulnerability in this particular .exe and unless you've loaded the recent M$ security patch, you could get bit.

Indiana - nice place but way too cool in winter. :D

Races the next two weekends so that end of town is gonna be a little crowded - think I'll stay away.
