    Hi,

Whenever I launch Win2k, the system32 folder pops up. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?

    Thanks,

    QPete.

    "what might cause this "

Assuming that This is a Windows Explorer window with WINNT\System32 expanded:

    Registry entry
    Shortcut in a startup folder
    Login script

    Indeed, the following was wrong:

I had an empty entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Removing it, made the explorer window disappear!

    Thanks for the hint!

    QPete.
