For some reason, when I turned on the PC this morning, my cable modem had been ejected and i had to re-install it - easy, I know and that posed no problem.

However, I always had (which I turned on myself with the tick box) the online 'twin flashing monitor' icon in my system tray.

It is not there now and I cannot, for the life of me, find the tick box option to turn it back on again - I just know someone in here will tell me where it is! Right??!

    PLEASE!

Right click on My Net Places->Properties->Right Click on Local Area Connection and there you are.
