    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Please do not tag onto an existing thread - your problem must be dealt with separately as the causes and possible remedy may not be the same. Always start a new thread with a new problem. I have moved your post to a new thread.

    User Guide

There are many possible causes of the computer shutting down at random - faulty hardware, overheating, flakey power supply, etc.

Do you get an error message and if so what is the Error signature - example from the thread you first posted in .....
