I am running Win XP Pro. When I try to access System Information I get the Help and Support Center screen. I tried going through tools\View advanced system information\View detailed system information(Msinfo32.exe) and it gives me another Help and Support Center screen. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. I tried taking ownership, logging on as administrator, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Take a look at This Thread and This One. Some duplication of information but both have extensive discussions of your problem.

I'm out of ideas on this one, but if you want good system information - and more, then have a look at Aida32

Is there suppose to be an entry in task manager(system information or msinfo32.exe). If it is suppose to have an entry and i have replace it what is the proper entry(eg. msinfo32.exe, msinfo32 /showcategories, SystemInformation).
