For monitoring system temps and volts, I use ASUS PC Probe. For jokes, I installed Speccy, which seems to be a fave amongst users here. Running them side by side, I have different results. Who should I believe? ASUS sez my CPU is running at 97 degrees fahrenheit, whereas Speccy sez high 60's. I tend to believe ASUS

BIOS sez "Trust ASUS PCProbe II "

Can't understand why Speccy fails on the CPU temp reading
