I am unable to boot my system as it is not moving forward after the windows start up screen. I am using Original Windows 7 home Edison. Not even that i am unable to repair or reinstall windows. Even the recovery DVD is not working. I have no idea what to do, can anyone tell me it's solution.

You'll have to provide more information. What did you do prior to this happening? Any errors you received? You say the recovery DVD isn't working, how would you know?

    Hay Arie,

System was working great before that, no any error message I received. Once it get turned off due to low battery {that was only once}, after that when i tried to restart the system, it asked for the normal startup or recovery. I selected the recovery option. It takes more than 7 hours, but nothing happens. System stops at the screen with Microsoft Windows logo.

I have tried to run the system in safe mode too, but that too does not work, System is promoting either to run the windows in normal mode or to run the recovery process. I have tried the both option still result remains the same.

I tried to run the system using recovery DVD {although I know that it to be used only after windows proper working}, but that effort also goes in vain.

At-last, I took my laptop to a computer repair shop, where I got to know that this is basically a problem in hard disk due to bad sector. Is this possible and if yes what can be possible solution? According to that person only solution is change of hard disk.

Their conclusion is what I suspected & you'd be able to find if you run the software I linked to. If you don't know what the make of your laptop HD is you can just take it out from the laptop & look at it.

Yes, you should change the HD.
