System (bios) password?

I have a system I cannot get into at all. It is a Dell 2100 and I cannot remember the password for the system. I have tried taking the battery out, left it out for about an hour the last time on someones advice. It still didn't work.

Any other ideas? I get a screen that asks me to put in the password or to hit control enter to bypass it. I do control and enter and nothing happens at all.

I have never done this before but couldn't I put it into another computer and when I bring it up I should be able to get in with the other systems password?
