We are using sysprep to image our laptops. Is there a registry setting or a script we can use to uncheck the wireless box:
"Use windows to configure wireless network setting for clients "
    for all users.
    Thanks

    Sue

I haven't worked with sysprep but with setupmgr.exe and when creating your answer file, can't you opt to avoid the wireless setup?

The person we have creating the image tells me that is not possible. He says he needs to change it in the registry. I know very little about sysprep. Just going on what he tells me.

I should probably explain the reason why we want this turned off. We are using Cisco WAP's and need to use the intel pro drivers instead, it offers more features to set. The WAP setting for the Intel Pro drivers is carried forward on the image to all the users, but the unchecked box does not. So I need to find a way to force that box to be unchecked.

    HKLM\Software\Intel\Wireless\Wconfig
    set SoftExternalAgentStatus to 0

    I figured it out.

    Thanks
