after installing IE8 on some sites I receive the error below
I'm running windows xp sp3, with 2gb ram
I've already tried to remedy this by changing visual effects but I'm still getting the error on some sites.

    SysFader: Application Error
The instruction at 0x1a43e819 referenced memory at 0x00000000 the memory cannot be read click cancel to..etc.

Has anyone been able to resolve this?

Start IE with no-addons - there may be a conflict there - and see if that resolves the problem.

If it does disable all add-ons and re-enable one at a time until the problem re-occurs. You then know the culptit.

I tried the no add-ons and it did not resolve it plus other tweaking, I decided to uninstall it. When i went to the Control panel there wasn't a remove button, so I figured the install was bad. I reinstalled IE8 and it fixed the problem.
For my case this was the solution, I'm sure there are other causes.

Thank you for your response though I really appreciate it.
