undefined  I have installed this password manager. but i have no idea how to get it to remember my passwords when i enter sites. I have tried everything. The user's guide is not helping me. i thought after i filled in a user name and password, Norton would ask if I wanted to remember this info. How does this work? Pls HELP!!

 thanks for the response. But I was unable to make any headway w/ the link and i have had no response from them yet. I am just wondering is there something I have to do to activiate the password rememberer? I must be just missing something.

After you installed Norton Password Manager (NPM), did you create a profile? It can have more than one profile in case there is more than one user of your computer. If you're the only one using your computer, you still have to create a profile in NPM.

Once you've created a profile, you have to sign in to NPM.

Only after you've created a profile and have NPM running (meaning you've signed into it) will it be able to save passwords. It has no way of knowing any passwords that you've used when it wasn't running (before you installed it as well as after you installed it but didn't start it up). So when you go to a site with a password, type it in and with NPM running and you're signed in, it will ask if you want it to save that password. Tell it yes. Eventually, it'll have all your passwords saved.

All the steps for creating a profile and signing into that profile are on this page.

 HI and thanks for your reply. I have created a profile, actually I have created 2. The problem seems to be that I am not prompted/asked if I want to save the password when I sign onto sites. I am signed into NPM but I have been on many sites that I use pw's and the prompt never comes up. What could be wrong? Any other things I can check? PLMK and thanks for your time!
