My husband and I each have an e-mail account using Outlook Express. When we switch identities it always requires a password be entered even though we have the passwords saved. What can be done so we can switch identities without having to continually enter passwords?

With different identities I dont think you can. The other way around this is delete your identites, create two accounts, yours and his. Then you would have to use message rules " where to line contains people" and send it to "betty's inbox" something like that.

    File - Identities - Manage Identities - Properties - uncheck "Require a password ".

"Require a Password" is already unchecked.

Thanks for the pointers. As of right now I guess I will just have to deal with it.

i have 2 identities and i dont ever have to use my password to switch. i remember having trouble getting them to work. my password is the same for both identities.

i had to contact att broadband to get my email accounts working right. i had to register both identities with them. maybe its because i used the same password for both identities that mine works.

try contacting your ISP and see if they can help.
