    Hello all,

As soon as Windows is starting up, svchost.exe slowly starts growing. Programs do not start initially, until I wait 5 minutes and then terminate svchost.exe

Ofcourse, this kills all the services, causing a restart of svchost and thus the most important services, strangly, this does not restart the memory leak.

I'm not sure how to solute this problem. I know that there was a problem with Windows 2000 and DCOM1.0 (or 1.1, I forgot) where the DCOM services checking caused a memory leak.

I'd expect that they have fixed that in Windows XP, so I'm not too sure if it's the same problem. Seems a bit.. unlikely.

    Does anyone have an idea?
