Ok, I was dailing to the internet and had an error message that said "svchost.exe ----- windows had to shutdown---" something like that, then the connection failed, I tried to dail again, and it didn't even open the dailer. I logged off, and then back on, and I tried again, and it said "Mindspring (being my ISP) cannot be found ". 5 minutes at the most, I tried again, and it worked. But it's not in Network and Dail-Up Connections  What's this all about??

Humbug - when I try your link I get a very interesting page from M$.

The URL shows as (part removed to keep it from looking like a link and not showing correctly)

    support.microsoft.com/common/errors/default.aspx?404:xxxx://support.microsoft.com/%3CRejected-By-UrlScan%3E?~/defaul...;EN-US;Q314056&

and I especially like the part that reads /%3CRejected-By-UrlScan%3E?~/

However, putting it in like Q314056 A Description of Svchost.exe in Windows XP does seem to work fine.

    No idea what busted yours.
