    Hi ROBINT,

I'm sure you have all these settings in place:

    Edit | Preferences | Advanced | System
    Check http: and https:
Under protocols check HTML under file types

    Edit | Preferences | Navigator
Netscape is set as the Default Browser

Edit | Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings
    Set as Default

    Let us know,

    Hi ROBINT,

One other place to check, that I found in some of my notes:

Open Windows Explorer, click the VIEW menu|FOLDER OPTIONS|FILE TYPES tab
and see if there's a URL:MAILTO PROTOCOL listing.

If so, select it and click on EDIT. Point the path to NS7.0 instead of 4.x.

    AND

Even though HTTP is enabled in Preferences, You might want to check Registered File Types. In mine, I noted that URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol pointed to Communicator 4.79, so I redirected it to Netscape 7.0. Even though I am having no problems now, I'm thinking that this may prevent future problems.

    Hi ROBINT,

Good to hear your problem is solved!

I should have been more clear on the File Types. Registered File Types = the list of file types, that you can view in Windows Explorer, which associates programs with file types.

    Open Windows Explorerer
    Click on View
    Click on Folder Options
    Click on File Types
