    Greetings
I have been experiencing the problems as noted in the fix at the top of the web page.
For me to get around it I have been using the WNTIPCFG command - releasing and renewing all. This usually clears up matters for a couple hours -and then repeat.
I read the post and explanation of what are some of the causes for the problem and noticed that the article refers to the subnet for LAN PC is always 255.255.255.0. Mine is 255.255.255.240. I have ZoneAlarm and am unable to edit the active adapter subnet so exactly what do I do?

In the past month I have uninstalled the recent update that caused all the problems and have not reinstalled it. But the problems continue.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Zonealarm but the problems continue.

Suggestions - especially solutions :D - are greatly appreciated.

If your mask is .240 then it sounds like that is a WAN IP as provided by your ISP.

A LAN IP will almost always be 255.255.255.0 or even 255.255.254.0 on a bigger Subnet. If your IP address doesn't start with either 10.x.x.x or 192.x.x.x then it's a WAN IP provided by your ISP
