Stuck on "Welcome"

    When I boot up the computer, it gets stuck on the screen that says "Welcome ". I have tried re-booting.:confused:

    just before windows begins to load try hitting the f8 key a few times, then boot into safe mode. Once in safe mode try to disable any startup items that may be causing the problem. To do this click start->run. type in msconfig. click on the tab that says startup, then hit disable all. Hit apply and close, then hit restart. Boot into windows normal mode and see what happens.
