    Hi
    N7.1, Win 98
In Netscape Mail, I have two mail accounts set up.
One is my primary account with Comcast, second one is web based Netscape account.
My Netscape account is set under "Preferences" to put all copies of sent mail to Comcast's account "Sent" folder, so they don't take space in my 5 MB Netscape account.
It worked for a while OK, then since few days ago, a mail sent through my Netscape account is put into BOTH "Sent" folders (Comcast, AND Netscape).
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

    Hi broni,

I've been waiting for someone who uses Netscape Webmail to jump in and help you. No takers though.

When you reset Preferences for the WebMail "Sent" mail, is that setting retained temporarily? I wonder if you saved it to a newly created folder, if it would work?

I don't have AIM, therefore cannot access WebMail, other than thru the HTTP interface.

Thanks for replying, but I don't quiet understand what you are asking me:
It worked OK, but all of sudden it stopped.
    I can try it.
What does AIM have to do here?
    Thanks again.

    broni,

When your webmail started saving to its sent folder, in addition to your Comcast sent folder, did you try to reset your Preferences, and if so, were those settings retained, even temporarily?

I don't have AIM installed, therefore I cannot access Webmail throught the browser interface in order to try and recreate your issue.

    Yes
I tried to send that "sent" mail to all kind of folders to no avail. It always goes double to Comcast, AND Netscape "Sent" folder.

    Hi broni

Ramona's advice would have been my first approach to this problem. We all know how stubborn N7's can be.
There is ONE setting I do want you to check in your N7 IMAP account. Make sure your "BCC" is "Not Checked / disabled" in your Copies and Folders" view. If is currently "Un-Checked" , was it ever "Checked / enabled" at a previous time?
    NEXT thing to try.....
I have N7 IMAP account folders for "Sent, Draft, and Template" selected to be "Stored in my N7 POP3" folders. This was my solution fix to N7 IMAP other error problems.
If still no change... I would recycle - ONCE per day or two days... "Sent, Draft, Template" ALL stored IMAP account, then ALL back to the POP3 account. Hopefully will get the double setting unglued.
