Question for Antony I guess really... just had a quick peek at your site and I don't see a streamlined version for NS7 and Mac yet.

Do you plan to do one? Please, please, please... :)

I want to try it, but not with all the "garbola" that comes with it... :(

Don't want no AIM... I'll check my own webmail thanks... don't use it... use my ISP. Don't want no RealPlayer, Talk Back... Java is taken care of by Mac with MRJ and Mozilla Plugins... so and so forth...

    Thanks... :)

    Thank you for your enquiry.

It depends on if I have enough time, if I have, might go for Mac OS8.6+ version, because I don't have a Mac myself, have to extra careful when creating from Windows. The size won't save that much compare to Windows version.

For Mac OS8.6+ and particularly OSX, I need someone help for packaging and testing.

Side news: Streamline 7.0 for Linux is on the way.

    Antony...

That's just fine with me!!! Just do Classic meaning OS8.6/O9.x if that's all you have time for... :D Anything below OS X (10) uses the PPC version (versus the Carbon) version so that's all about 75% of us need!

I don't need no stinkin' OS X... I hate the thing... so know nothing about it.

I was just told by someone that if I'm on a Mac, I'm stuck with AIM and RealPlayer... phooey! I'll be stuck with NS4.76 and Opera... :D I hate being told... the software is there, but I'll hardly notice it.

*LOL** isn't that a bit like a big red zit on the nose? ;)

Dreambird, maybe I've misunderstood what you're looking for, but I think Ramona have given detailed instructions for doing a custom install of Netscape 7 that helps you avoid all the stuff you don't want. I think I pared my version of Netscape 7 down even further than she did--it came in at a little over 9MB (down from 31, I think)--I didn't load any of the media players, nor mail, nor AIM, etc. You can find Ramona's illustrated instructions at http://home.att.net/~cherokee65/index5.html
