Strange things happening to friend's computer. When it boots up the desk top appears, but then freeze's b/4 rest of programs load, and the low resources alert appears. Using C/A/D the close programs window has these 2 items listed:
wfpt7sa5wi & 4s4oktdfnb. These are listed many times over and seem to replicate themselves when you close them down. I ran a search and could not find anything about these items. I have Avast installed and spybot.

    Any suggestions!

Post a log from HijackThis so one of the Helpers/experts can see
what's going on.The current version is 1.97.7 [created by merijn bellekom]

    Get it here http://radiosplace.com/
    choose save, NOT OPEN
Save it to a PERMANANT folder, double-click HijackThis.exe,
and hit "Scan ". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here.
Most of what it lists will be harmless, even essential,DON'T fix anything yet please. Also If you've used it before please dont have anything excluded

    Exe Fix
If the weird named files keep appearing, you may need the above to fix the executable file association. This can be used to start malware with every program started, and will fit on a floppy. There is a link below to get a dos based AV scan if needed.
    Bootdisk's, if needed.
