Strange Process Running

    Anyone heard of Winkuv.exe?

    This process seems to be using almost 50% of the CPU time and 2,460k of memory. It also runs in cycles, slamming the CPU usage to 100% for a second or so then turning itself off. -?

    I cannot end this process.

    Help?

    Hi JimmyB
    I've not only not heard of it, I can't pull up any kind of search on it. Are you sure you have the spelling right?
    You can get a form of msconfig here perhaps? And see if you can stop it from loading at start up?
