Strange Problems After Installing New Windows Xp

    Well one of my friends is having a pretty strange problem.Once Windows Xp with sp1 integrated is installed and the welcome screen where u are asked to connecto to the internet and have an option of supplying ur user name in and then the registration **** then u logonto windows.once it is done and i boot into windows after the reboot the exact **** pops up again connect to the internet bla registration and even my display driver is not being picked up by my friends Mx 440 .Rebooting causes this problem everytime dont know what to do please help......

    Hi Downtoearth,
    This sounds like normal new installation behavior, trying to get you to register. The simplest solution is just to register. Otherwise, if you look carefully at all the options on the screen, you'll see one that tells the program to remind you later.

    This sounds like WPA - Windows Product Activation http://aumha.org/win5/a/wpa.php

    If not done within 30 days of install - system drops dead.
