Strange- PC Wants to Shutdown

Hello, a PC I maintain recently is having a problem. I could be working on files and then all of a sudden the monitor goes black.

It will look like it has turned off. Then a few seconds go by and I am back to the desktop but on the desktop I get the small window with the Shutdown, Restart and Standby.

I have lost a few files I was working because of this. Has anyone ever seen this occur? The computer does not shutdown or restart automatically it just gets to the point asking me if I want to do this, like if I had hit the Start Button and hit shutdown.

If anyone knows about this, I would appreciate the help.

Suggest you hang up the phone (rt-clk the net connection in control panel and choose disable) when not actually using the web. Then check your security against suggestions in our Removing Spyware & Viruses and General Security forums. Your computer may be hacked.
