Strange Notepad item

    I opened My Computer >Hard Disk Drive & found the following extensive number :

    C:\2365d28f38881960323df0bc

    I clicked on this and it opened a Notepad text document which was identified as:

    msmxm14-KB927978-enu

    and when I opened this, it showed an enormous list beginning as follows:

    Is this something legitimate? The letter "MS" lead me to think so, but the whole thing makes me a bit nervous. (I'm not quoting the entire list; it would be tedious and perhaps not even acceptable here because of its length.)
