strange mouse

i have a PS2 mouse and when i connect it to a pc and boot up it works fine. However, the next time i restart the pc, the computer does not detect it, even if i run the Hardware Wizard. However, if i remove it from the PS/2 connector and connect again, it works fine when i restart. However, this must be done everytime i restart the pc.

The mouse is a scroll Maxxtor mouse Model: MUSI.

Unfortuantely, i do not have it's driver and i did not manage to find one yet.

Any ideas about this curious thing pls!
