    When saving a file using SAVE AS the usual SAVE IN window presents with files and folders on C drive listed.

    The files and folders used to be presented with folders first (in alphabetical order) and then files in alpha sequence.

    Now the files are listed first in apha order followed by folders in order of last access. i.e. last data folder accessed for read or write is first in order.

    Is there anyhting I can do to go back to my familiar way ...or is this another mirosoft 'productivity feature' foisted on me in a windows update?

    Start->Run->Explorer.exe

    Right click and select "Arrange Items By" -> "Type "

    Even if type is already selected this will toggle between folders first or files first.

    Please let us know if this helps.
